April 13th at SBCC: An offering for Helping Hands will be received at the close of the worship service.
April 13th at SBCC, a round table discussion on church health and growth will take place at 5:00 P.M. We encourage all members who are interested in working to make a positive difference in the future of SBCC to attend. This meeting is open to all SBCC members and will be moderated by Mark Faulconer. A summary of the meeting will be available the following week.
This Wednesday, April 16, at 6:00 come enjoy a spaghetti dinner and fellowship followed by youth classes from 7:00-8:00. A signup sheet is posted for anyone willing to provide food for the dinner.
Join us for an Easter egg hunt and cookout this Saturday, April 19, from 10:00-12:00 at the church. Donations of candy, candy filled eggs, and food are needed. See Amy Sangston if you can help.
Next Sunday, April 20, an Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 7:00 A.M. Breakfast will be served after the service. A signup sheet is posted for breakfast items needed.
SBCC is starting a Church Newsletter. Please send us any and all upcoming events in the church, community, neighborhood, etc. that you would like others to know about. The newsletter will be published every 2 months to start. All "news items" need to be turned in by April 26th for our first publication on or around May 4th. Newsletters will be sent via email, so make sure Joyce Mason has your email address. The rest will be mailed. Turn in your news items to Hunter Kennon, Amy Sangston, Greg Newman or any member of the Evangelism Committee.
The food item for April for Amherst Cares is canned pasta. This is the last month we will be collecting food until further notice. Thank you for your past support of this community outreach project.
